Anissa Salerno, PMHNP, is a Child and Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Anissa manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns, including Autism, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders. Her approach to care recognizes that every patient is unique and should be treated as such.
Anissa provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, personal history, stressful or traumatic life experiences, and concerns about medications. Anissa approaches patient care with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient’s sense of comfort and trust. She approaches treatment from a nonjudgmental space allowing the professional relationship to develop. This approach is successful in meeting the needs and desired outcomes of each client. Anissa’s primary focus is providing honest communication with her patients and quality resources for all those involved.

LaToya received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University. She started her healthcare career 18 years ago as a combat medic in the United States Army, treating soldiers and their families. LaToya has worked in Geriatric psychiatry in a local nursing facility. She also has worked on multiple inpatient psychiatric units.
She has experience working with a diverse group of patients. Most recently, LaToya worked on research studies with children and adolescents battling chronic health problems and the natural process of aging. She believes that fostering our mental health is an important part of treating our overall wellness.

Germaine has nearly 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. One of her core beliefs is perspective is everything, and she values the unique perspective each person brings into the counseling session. She has years of experience working with adults with a variety of mental health diagnoses, such as ADD/ADHD, anger problems, anxiety, depression/mood disorders, serious and persistent mental illness and PTSD and other trauma-related disorders.
Germaine has an active therapeutic style and takes an eclectic approach to therapy; utilizing different techniques depending on clients’ needs. Treatment options may include mindfulness-based approaches, CBT, DBT, ACT and Integrative health methods. Her approach to treatment is holistic. She encourages clients to explore how every aspect of their functioning, from what they eat and drink, to working environment, exercise, leisure, spirituality & engagement with family or friends impacts their mood and/or stress level, health, energy and spirit. Her goal is to help clients gain insights, change unwanted behaviors, improve the quality of their relationships and connections to others and achieve balance.

Danny is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland, who is
beginning their career as a counselor, following their recent graduation at Loyola University of
Maryland. Danny has experiences of working with individuals who range throughout the
lifespan. Danny also has experience of working with individuals who identify with a diversity of
diagnoses and concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma,
substance abuse, substance abuse disorders, and ADHD.
Danny utilizes an eclectic approach which encapsulates a major focus on Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, while also implementing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal
Therapy. Danny believes therapy is not solely an opportunity to magnify the struggles or
concerns in an individual, but to highlight and recognize the strengths within the them as well.
Danny helps clients to develop healthier thinking patterns, better relationships, overcome life’s
obstacles, and incorporate self-care, into their daily routine, to improve life satisfaction. If
Danny isn’t practicing therapy you may find him at a local gym working out, reading a textbook
in a coffee shop, in front of a TV watching the Ravens, or bartending on the weekends.

Kathryn has been a counselor and art therapist at Balance Point Wellness since 2017, specializing in interpersonal dynamics, attachment, trauma, and recovery. Her therapeutic approach focuses on healing, resiliency, adaptive coping, and personal insight from a humanistic perspective.
She also uses evidence-based models such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness strategies in her practice. In addition to traditional counseling techniques, Kathryn values art-making as a vehicle for cathartic release, identity development, and healing. She believes that as human beings, we all have a creative side no matter our age, experience level, or background. Kathryn’s approach to art therapy invites participants to explore different materials and find insight into their creative process. Kate is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. They have an extensive background in mindfulness practices, which they integrate into the therapeutic experience when applicable. Kate has experience working with clients who experience mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, complex trauma, PTSD, and gender and sexual identity exploration.
Kate specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ folks and is dedicated to providing culturally competent care as well as neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. They approach all therapeutic interventions from a trauma-informed framework that holds space for the impact that environmental and sociopolitical systems have on mental health. Kate’s approach to therapy involves ensuring client safety and security in being one’s most authentic self. They integrate lived-experience-informed approaches and evidence-based practices to shape the therapeutic experience to each client’s needs while prioritizing client autonomy and safety throughout the process.

Madison Gee, LMSW

Madison Gee is a Licensed Masters Social Worker and provides psychotherapy to an array of clients. Madison’s obtained degrees are BSW and MSW, accompanied by her MSW license which has allowed her to gain expertise in both generalist practice social work as well as clinical social work. Thus, she specializes in many disorders such as trauma disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders with all age groups. Madison’s focus centers around implementing techniques all based in talk therapy to simply provide a guided safe space for her clients to process, explore, ventilate, and externalize their thoughts and emotions in a healthy manner. We will work together as a team where you will be able to trust, depend, and utilize her as a tool in your achievement of mental wellness. Improvement of daily functioning is the goal!

Johanna specializes in anxiety and mood disorders and utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. In her private practice, she treats various general medical conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, allergies, anxiety, depression, sports injuries., etc. Working in concert with Dr.’s, therapists, and other practitioners to combine Eastern and Western medicine for the best possible outcomes. Yvette helps her patients discover their healing abilities by supporting them along their healing path.

Rochan Olson-Burrell, DAOM, L.Ac, MATCM
Licensed Acupuncturist
Masters and Doctorate in Healthy aging and Longevity from
Yo San University.
She spent time in China studying at the Shanghai University spending time in the stroke center. She had a private practice in LA for eight years where she treated a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to pain, digestion, PMS, fertility, stress, and anxiety. She focuses on treating the whole person physically, mentally, and spiritually, using many different modalities in combination with lifestyle and nutrition coaching to empower the patient to help heal themselves, working to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
