We currently accept insurance from the following providers: Medicare, Medicaid (Priority Partners, Keiser, UH Community Plan, Medstar Family Choice, MD Physicians Care, Amerigroup, Jai), Tricare, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BCBC, Carefirst, Cigna, US Family Health (USFHP), Hopkins EHP, Cigna EAP, Care First Medicare Advantage, Evernorth, Aetna, and United Health Care/Optum.
Individual therapy, often referred to as counseling or psychotherapy, is a process by which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist to address any identified concerns with mental health, including depression, anxiety, relationship or work troubles, trauma, and personal growth. An individualized treatment plan will be developed and tailored to your specific needs as part of the therapy process.
Psychiatric and medication management services are offered as a supportive treatment to clients participating in therapy (if desired by the client). Your psychiatrist will provide education regarding possible medication interventions and collaborate with your therapist to ensure both treatments support your goals. You will be able to schedule an initial meeting with the psychiatrist after completing two therapy sessions.
Telehealth mental health services are a convenient way to access mental health services from anywhere within the State of MD. With Telehealth services, the client and therapy connect virtually over a HIPAA compliant platform affording the use of video and audio connections. The client and therapist engage in the same assessment, treatment planning, and interventions as in-person therapy. This service is limited based on insurance coverage, so please contact your insurance company to ensure eligibility.
Therapy can be used to help families improve communication, learn conflict resolution strategies, and make positive changes within the relationship. Family therapy can be the main focus of treatment as well as a beneficial addition to individual therapy. Your therapist will assist you in examining how the other members impact each individual in the family dynamic.

Art therapy uses art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork as a therapeutic and healing process. Clients can explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. Clients are encouraged to explore different materials and reflect on their creative process, which can foster valuable insight and personal healing. And no previous art experience is required! Group therapy offers clients with similar goals and challenges to come together and support each other’s individual growth and development. This format is an effective way to see that you are not alone when it comes to experiencing emotional challenges, and that positive change can occur.

Use Biofeedback to become more in touch and control of your body’s sensations and function. Stress is manifested physiologically for everyone. Biofeedback measures physiological responses to stress (muscle tension, sweat conductance, respiration, heart rate, temperature). By witnessing the evidence of their physiological responses, clients can better train themselves to calm down. Biofeedback training can be an integral part of promoting stress management.
Using physiological feedback, you’ll develop relaxation techniques and exercises to help relieve symptoms related to:
- Psychological testing (bariatric surgery evaluations, military fitness for duty, adult diagnostic differential evaluations)
- Corporate, educational seminars on stress management, mental health, and behavioral modification/treatment planning (for school systems).
