Bethany Benson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Certified Supervisor for the State of Maryland. She has experience working with adults, children, and families in both the school and outpatient settings. Before joining Balance Point Wellness, she worked with children ranging from ages four to fifteen in a school setting and adults experiencing chronic homelessness in Baltimore City.
Bethany has experience working with individuals with various diagnoses, including but not limited to Adjustment Issues, Grief, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder, Trauma, Anxiety, and Depressive Disorders. She uses an eclectic approach grounded in CBT, Play therapy, and Person-Centered, tailored to each individual’s specific needs. Bethany believes in the power of a positive therapeutic relationship to help each individual find healing and reach their fullest potential.

Kara Bosworth, LMSW

Kara is a Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated from Walden University with a Master’s in Social Work. Kara has work experience in school and clinical settings and experience in the field of crisis response. Kara completed her first internship at a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Philadelphia and her second at a mental health therapy office in Baltimore City. Kara primarily has experience working with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and stress management.
As a therapist, Kara encourages her clients to reach their full potential using goal setting and management to accomplish their goals. Kara is here to help and equip her clients with skills, tools/techniques, and resources that can be used to assist them in their daily lives, as well as provide a place where they can be heard and listened to. To achieve this, Kara uses cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness with her clients.

Olivia Braganza is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in clinical professional counseling from Loyola University Maryland. She is dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples, with a strong commitment to integrating a holistic approach to mental health in her therapeutic practice.
Olivia has experience assisting adolescents and adults struggling with emotional dysregulation, situational stressors, and interpersonal concerns. She is comfortable working with clients dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma.
Her treatment approach is tailored to the unique needs of each client and draws from a diverse array of therapeutic modalities. These include emotion-focused therapy, experiential techniques, mindfulness-based strategies, solution-focused interventions, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and somatic therapy. Olivia’s practice is grounded in providing a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore and grow at their own pace.

Yasmine Bailey is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. Yasmine previously worked with the indigenous population during her internship experience in Maryland. She has experience providing services to children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Yasmine is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults, treating clients with anxiety, depressions, PTSD, and ADHD. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance and commitment therapy in working with clients to form a strong foundation, developing coping mechanisms, and individual growth. Her approach is eclectic and tailored to each client. Yasmine works to guide clients towards their potential and help gain insight into themselves.

Maria Demeo, LGPC

Maria has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various capacities for over 10 years. Maria’s experience includes working with emotionally disabled children at Villa Maria Schools, and most recently clients of all ages and diagnoses at Affiliated Sante Group w/focus on crisis intervention and case management. Maria prefers an eclectic approach for therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other evidenced-based practices. Maria works with her clients to address various presenting issues including mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma. Maria’s passion is doing trauma-focused treatment with children to foster her clients’ overall growth and healing.
Robyn Dorsey, LMSW

Robyn Dorsey is a Licensed Masters Social Worker who earned their degree from The University of Maryland School of Social Work. Robyn has worked with kids of all ages in a variety of environments including schools, shelters, psychiatric hospitals, foster care, group homes, and residential treatment centers. For the last decade, Robyn has focused on community organizing and advocacy, and they are thrilled to return to working with kids and families.
When Robyn isn’t working, you can find her wandering in the wilderness, embroidering silly sayings, or reading The Pout Pout Fish with all the voices.

In addition, Zoe is passionate about holistic psychology and uses a trauma-informed lens in her therapeutic interventions.

Jodi Schuleman is a Licensed Master Social Worker from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Her passion for working with children and adolescents has been fueled by her work in both educational and mental health settings. Her experience includes working with clients who are facing challenges with anxiety; depression; grief/loss; self-esteem/body image issues; adjustment disorders; school-related issues; learning disorders; ADHD; family/relationship challenges; peer relationships; LGBTQ and gender identity issues; stress management; social skills challenges, as well as other emotional and behavioral issues.
She provides a warm, healing space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment or fear. She practices a humanistic approach based on the individual’s needs. By using integrative methods of therapy that incorporate a Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Mindfulness, and expressive modalities(art, music, writing, and play), she allows her clients to identify and achieve personal goals. Jodi works collaboratively with her clients as they integrate skills and techniques in the therapeutic setting that empower her clients to recognize their core strengths, power of resiliency, and self-worth. Helping clients discover and acknowledge their strengths while incorporating new coping strategies is the key to successful therapeutic outcomes.

Lexie approaches therapy as a partnership. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches that meet each of her client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Lexie earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York’s Hunter College. There, she received the award for Counseling Service & Advocacy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stanford University.

In her private practice, she treats various general medical conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, allergies, anxiety, depression, sports injuries., etc. Working in concert with Dr.’s, therapists, and other practitioners to combine Eastern and Western medicine for the best possible outcomes. Yvette helps her patients discover their healing abilities by supporting them along their healing path.

Rochan Olson-Burrell, DAOM, L.Ac, MATCM
Licensed Acupuncturist
Masters and Doctorate in Healthy aging and Longevity from
Yo San University.
She spent time in China studying at the Shanghai University spending time in the stroke center. She had a private practice in LA for eight years where she treated a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to pain, digestion, PMS, fertility, stress, and anxiety. She focuses on treating the whole person physically, mentally, and spiritually, using many different modalities in combination with lifestyle and nutrition coaching to empower the patient to help heal themselves, working to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
