
Tanasia Hazelton, LMSW
Tanasia is a Licensed Master Social worker who earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. Tanasia is a Black queer woman who brings her full, authentic self to the therapeutic space and strives to create an environment where clients can do the same. Her practice is trauma-informed, queer affirming, anti-racist, anti-ableist, and above all, client-centered. She has experience working with clients in the juvenile justice system, battling chronic diseases, having family struggles, and even clients who simply want professional accountability and support as they continue evolving into the best version of themselves. Tanasia specializes in therapy for clients experiencing ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, various mood disorders, identity-based trauma and struggles and more. She utilizes a myriad of therapeutic tools including but not limited to cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, elements of EMDR, and mindfulness. Tanasia considers it an honor and pleasure to be a co-journer on your road to self-defined, health, pleasure, success and fulfillment.
