
Arianna Handy, LGCP
Arianna is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counsselor who obtained a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology with a Counseling Concentration from The University of Baltimore. Arianna is passionate about working with teenagers and adults between the ages of 15 to 45. Arianna has training experience with diagnoses which include(but are not limited to) depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders. She also has experience in helping people with disability management, identity confusion, panic attacks, low self-esteem, and suicidal ideation.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative in that the interventions are tailored to the needs and interests of clients. Common modalities used include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. Arianna upholds the belief that all people can change, and therapy is an instrumental tool used to uncover such strength.
