Sophie Bailowitz, LGPC

Sophie has experience working with adults, adolescents and youth as they navigate a range of challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. She is passionate about helping individuals gain insight into themselves in order to recognize their own strengths and build skills to work through difficulties. Sophie utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused approaches, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness and acceptance-based practices, and motivational techniques. She is thoughtful about how client identities, backgrounds, and other relevant characteristics may inform treatment. Sophie values building a safe, nonjudgmental, and open therapeutic relationship and invites client collaboration and feedback in the hopes of meeting the unique needs of each individual that she works with.
