Izzy earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Union College and is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. Originally from New Hampshire, she combines her academic background with hands-on clinical experience to support clients in a thoughtful and compassionate way.
Before beginning graduate school, Izzy worked as a residential counselor at Seacoast Mental Health Center, a nonprofit organization in New Hampshire. There, she supported adults with their daily living skills and developed a deep appreciation for building warm, collaborative, and trusting relationships. This experience reinforced her belief that every person deserves care that is tailored to their unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Izzy is currently seeing clients at Balance Point Wellness in Baltimore, Maryland, under the supervision of Kate Eckstine. She believes that life naturally comes with ups and downs, and sometimes we all need a safe space to slow down, make sense of our experiences, and reconnect with ourselves. The coping strategies or habits that once helped us may no longer fit, leaving us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the person we want to be. Izzy views therapy as a collaborative process and believes you are the expert on your own life. Her role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore your experiences, identify meaningful goals, and make changes that feel authentic and sustainable. She strives to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted, using empathy, compassion, and curiosity to support you through life’s challenges while helping you build a life that feels more aligned with your values and who you are.
