Beki is a Licensed Master of Social Work, having earned her degree from The University of Maryland where she also earned a Master’s of Fine Art. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and uses her arts background to engage them in creative exercises as well as mindfulness and play. She has experience working wit a range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression and mood disorders. Beki centers herself in the healing power of nature and considers herself an advocate for everyone getting outside more.
Beki also works at George Mason University as a lecturer in the Studio Art Foundations department where she teaches students foundational art skills and weaves in elements of art appreciation and comprehension.
