James Smith, LCPC
James is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He received his master’s degree in Applied Psychology and a certificate in professional counseling studies from the University of Baltimore. James’ clinical experience includes helping clients with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and more.
James describes his approach to counseling as leaning heavily into person-centered principles, with an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. James enjoys working with diverse people and firmly believes that they have their own strengths, even if they may not immediately recognize them. In working with diverse people, James likes to let clients’ personal values guide the therapeutic process.
