
Cortney Ireland, LCPC
Cortney is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the states of Maryland and Delaware who earned her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She is committed to providing compassionate and effective mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Cortney’s extensive experience working with various diagnoses, including ODD, DMDD, ADHD, and anxiety, has equipped her with the expertise to provide tailored and comprehensive therapeutic support.
Cortney takes a holistic and flexible approach to therapy, combining Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Each modality contributes a unique strength to her practice, whether through fostering present-moment awareness with mindfulness techniques, encouraging self-exploration and reflection through PCT, or helping clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns using CBT.
