Olivia comes to this field with her own lived experiences of healing and recovery. She understands that many folks come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and vulnerable. She understands that building a relationship with a therapist can take time and can bring about discomfort or even fear. Olivia believes it’s a privilege to witness another person’s journey and to hold space for their pain, joy, fear, and hope. She’ll support you in your process of coming home to yourself, and she’ll offer a compassionate presence and deep care along the way.

Olivia’s style is humanistic and relational. She weaves together EMDR, parts work, expressive arts, and harm reduction approaches based on your preferences and needs. She supports folks with complex trauma, eating disorders, dissociative experiences, chronic stress, and depression. She also enjoys working with folks in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, young adults navigating life transitions, and folks who’ve experienced harm within the psychiatric and/or medical system.

With Olivia, you’ll explore how past experiences have shaped your way of showing up in life and relating to others. You’ll be invited to explore the role that oppressive systems have played in your story, and Olivia will work to understand your experiences in the context of your unique identity, history, and social environment. Olivia’s approach is firmly rooted in trauma-informed care, and she’ll support your autonomy by empowering you and honoring your innate wisdom. With Olivia, therapy will be guided by your goals and your pace. She views your “symptoms” as creative strategies that have helped you survive, and she’ll help you tend compassionately to the parts of you that have worked so hard to protect you. Her hope is that therapy can be a space to discover a deeper sense of wholeness, connection, and peace.
