Mike Andrews, LMSW
Mike is a person-first clinician who believes that everyone deserves mental wellbeing. He empowers individuals to heal themselves and combines his experience as a social worker with evidence-based therapies. Mike practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with both teens and adults.
His clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma recovery, identity formation, and life transitions. He is a sex-positive, body-positive, nonmonogamy- and LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist. A typical session with Mike will likely include exercises in clarifying personal values, shifting perspective, applying self-compassion, and skills training. Mike provides a genuine, empathetic, and judgment-free space so that each client can gain insight and grow in their unique way.
