Matthew Wagner is a Licensed Master Social Worker who earned his degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Matthew has experience serving at-risk youth, houseless persons in Baltimore City, as well as adults of all ages with substance use disorders. Matthew has worked with a wide range of issues, such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and more.
When assisting clients in reaching their goals, Matthew focuses efforts on practicing CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. In order to create a more well-rounded approach to healing, Matthew likes to incorporate nature and creativity to help the client facilitate an outlet for healing and exploration of various coping skills. Matthew strives to create an empowering and non-judgmental environment in which the client’s strengths, personalities, and learning styles are incorporated to discover an individualized path to wellness.
