Kirsten Beasley, LMSW
Kirsten is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Studies from Bowie State University. Prior to becoming an LMSW, she worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for three years. Kirsten strives to create a healing and nonjudgmental environment for her clients, utilizing a client-centered approach. By using various clinical tools such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused strategies, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), she works alongside her clients to identify and accomplish goals. Kirsten also works with her clients to identify triggers, empower them, and provide them with the necessary tools to overcome trauma and become the best version of themselves.
