Catherine Abrams, LMSW, CAC-AD
Catherine is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Associate Counselor- Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD). Catherine has experience working with adults, teenagers, families, couples, and groups. Her primary specialty is working with adults who struggle with co-occurring disorders, criminal justice system involvement, and clients who are reluctant to engage in therapy.
Catherine has experience working with various diagnoses, including but not limited to adjustment, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, personality disorders, and bipolar disorder. Catherine utilizes a holistic and person-centered approach tailoring treatment goals and interventions based on individual client needs. She understands the importance of a positive and optimistic therapeutic relationship and an individualized approach that focuses on the client’s goals for treatment.
