Alysha Menkis, LCPC
Alysha Menkis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Small Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western Connecticut State University.
After obtaining her master’s, Alysha worked with children and adolescents as a school counselor. In this capacity, she created and implemented classroom lessons and provided individual and group counseling to help students learn social skills, executive functioning, and conflict resolution. Alysha works with children and adolescents who have a variety of diagnoses, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, adjustment, ADHD, and mood disorders. She uses a variety of methods, such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
